Marvel Select Series

Marvel Select is Diamond Select Toys’ 7-inch-scale Marvel action figure line, developed in 2002 with Marvel’s toy division Toy Biz as a specialty-market counterpart to Toy Biz’s mass-market figures. Diamond Select handled design, sales and marketing while Toy Biz handled development and production, and the early figures were mostly peripheral Ultimate Marvel and Marvel Knights characters. The first figures favoured sculpting over articulation and came with detailed diorama-style bases. Diamond Select later took over development and production, and the line expanded to core Marvel characters.
