Hasegawa™

Hasegawa is a Japanese plastic model manufacturer based in Yaizu, Shizuoka, which grew out of Hasegawa Seisakusho, a wooden model maker founded in 1941. It entered plastic models in 1961 with three gliders, followed in 1962 by a 1/450 scale battleship Yamato that sold some 150,000 copies. Known as “Hasegawa of the airplanes”, it makes aircraft, car and ship scale models, character kits such as its Macross and Creator Works series, and model railways.
