Coleco is an American company founded in 1932 by Maurice Greenberg as The Connecticut Leather Company, from which its name is derived. A successful toy maker in the 1980s, it mass-produced Cabbage Patch Kids dolls and made the Telstar and ColecoVision video game consoles. The company went bankrupt in 1988, and the Coleco brand was revived in 2005.
